. About
us
"Glasses are an accessory, not a necessity. They are the
first ting you put on in the morning and the last thing you take
off at night." This is the motto Bob Royden, owner of
The Village Eye Works, has lived by since he opened his first store
in 1985. Bob has made eyeglass shopping fun, instead of the tedious
task we envision it to be. We started as a small store
in Surprise, Arizona and have risen to earn the top ranking as one
of the top 100 optical shops in the nation.
. The
best care & service
"We enjoy helping people see better, feel comfortable
in their glasses and look good." Your satisfaction is our first priority as we strive to provide
you with kind and helpful assistance.
The Village Eye Works is proud
to announce that it has expanded to include Bob's daughter, Steph
Royden, a University of Arizona Science major graduate, who plans
to continue to the integrity tradition and legacy of The Village
Eye Works.
. Expert
knowledge
Personalized assistance from licensed and certified opticians.
We are specialized craftsmen in the field of opticianry.
Bob's reputation has
lead him to be a speaker at various optical conventions, quoted in
optical magazines, featured on many television news segments and
radio spots as one of the leading optical experts in the Valley.
He currently has two locations in Phoenix that serve North Central
Phoenix, Paradise Valley and Scottsdale clientele.
